Scott "Scotty Luke" Dennis
​
I am Scott "Scotty Luke" Dennis, an active-duty Marine of over 24 years currently stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC. I have been on four deployments, two of which were combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am a husband and proud father and kin to the mountains of Northern California (There's no place like home! Cliche, I know). I have been all over, stayed busy and haven't really taken the time to pursue what I love (outside of the Marine Corps...lol)

Music has always been a part of my life since my parents bought me my first guitar at 11 years old, and since then I have been playing around the campfire with my Uncle Dusty and my massive family during our get togethers. And I've been playing everywhere I've ever been since, to include every time I've been deployed...lol I've never been much for the spotlight and tend to try to be low-key, but I have been wanting to record and share with everybody my love of music and I have finally started to record my original works.

I'm an artist first so some of my songs may fit or not fit neatly into the country genre. I write what comes to me and my influences, (from Don Williams to Garth Brooks, America to The Eagles, Eric Clapton to Collective Soul, and everything in between) will come out in my music.

Other Experiences
Currently I play with a local band called Smalltown out of Swansboro, NC. A recent name change but we've been playing together for about a year and a half with the same crew. Up until recently we played with Shiftin' Gears. I post videos as often as I can on my FB, Instagram and now TikTok so hit those social media buttons on my Home Page and FOLLOW, LIKE and SHARE.
I also play when I can with another band Nostalgic Knights out of New Bern, NC; although not as often. They are an energetic 70's, 80's and 90's Rock cover band and a lot of fun.
